TWAS-TUBITAK fellowship 2025 in Turkey
TWAS-TUBITAK fellowship 2025 in Turkey is a fully funded fellowship for international scholars from developing countries. This fellowship program is a golden opportunity for individuals who want to conduct PhD research in the field of natural and related applied sciences departments. They will also work in laboratories of both public and private universities of Turkey and Research Centers.

Duration of Fellowship: 6-12 months
Benefits:
TWAS will cover the traveling costs of researchers to Turkey and from Turkey to their home country.
TWAS will also cover expenses related to visas.
TÜBİTAK will provide a monthly allowance to cover accommodation and living expenses.
TÜBİTAK will provide medical facilities for minor ailments.
Both the host institutions will cover all study fees including tuition and registration fees.
Research costs will also be covered by the host institutes.
Candidates can select the course and institution of their own choice.
Eligibility Criteria:
Be permanent residents of a developing country in the South.
Not be older than 35 years of age.
It is a sandwich research visit for students who are registered in PhD program in their home country or another developing country except Turkey.
Applicants should have passed PhD qualifying exam or should be in the final stage of their PhD.
Submit a letter from your PhD thesis advisor who should confirm that you are fully engaged in the research laboratory work for your Ph.D. thesis.
Have good English as the language of instruction will be English.
Not have visa for both temporary or permanent residence in Turkey or any other developed country.
Not already be living in Turkey.
Have a master’s or equivalent degree in natural and related applied sciences.
Be registered to a doctoral degree in natural and related applied sciences in a university of their home country or another developing country.
Not work on other assignments during the fellowship.
Cover the expenses of their family by themselves.
Not have received this fellowship before.
Return to their home country after completing this fellowship program.

Official acceptance letter from the host institution signed by the highest authority.
Research proposal form.
English proficiency certificate.
Valid passport.
Official transcripts/degrees.

Acceptance requests should first we sent to the host department in Turkey
First, create your profile on TÜBİTAK Researcher Information System (ARBİS) at https://arbis.tubitak.gov.tr.
Then Applications must be submitted online through the TÜBİTAK online application system through TYBS available.
Fill in all the personal and educational information asked.
Upload the required documents.
Review and submit the online form.
Only online applications will be accepted.
Applications after the deadline will not be accepted.
Candidates can apply for only one program in this fellowship.
