Eligibility Criteria of HIT Chinese Government Scholarship in China:
Open to all international and non-Chinese citizens.
Applicants must have good mental and physical health.
Must abide by Chinese laws and university regulations.
Cannot hold multiple scholarships simultaneously.
For Master’s Programs:
Hold a bachelor’s degree.
Age limit: under 35 years.
For Doctoral Programs:
Hold a master’s degree.
Age limit: under 40 years.
Language Proficiency:
Chinese-taught programs:
HSK Level 4 with ≥ 210 scores (valid for two years).
English-taught programs:
TOEFL ≥ 78 or IELTS ≥ 6.0, or equivalent certificate.
Other Requirements:
Must have a good academic record.
Demonstrated research ability.
(Optional) Evidence of achievements in academics, sports, arts, cultural exchanges, or \public welfare activities.

Required Documents for HIT Chinese Government Scholarship 2025:
Submit academic transcripts, starting from your undergraduate program.
Provide your highest graduate certificate, notarized in English or Chinese if needed.
Write a study plan—800 words for a master’s degree or 1,000 words for a doctoral degree.
Get your doctoral study plan approved and signed by a Chinese supervisor.
Include two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
Provide a copy of your passport homepage, valid until September 2025.
Submit a Foreigner Physical Examination Form, completed within six months.
Ensure the form has all items covered, a doctor’s signature, a hospital stamp, and a sealed photo.
Attach a non-criminal record certificate, issued within six months of application.
Provide an English Proficiency Test Certificate, meeting HIT requirements.
