Rest and Resilience Fellowship 2025 in Germany | Fully Funded  

Rest and Resilience Fellowship in Germany is a collaborative program between Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the Taz Panter Foundation. Each year, this fellowship invites two journalists from nations with limited freedom of the press and information. The  Short Term fellowship program in Berlin  is flexible and can be customized to suit each fellow’s unique needs and interests, without the requirement to follow a structured daily schedule.

Benefits of the Fellowship

Fellowship Eligibility Criteria  

  • Be a professional journalist from a country with restricted freedom of press and information    

  • Have several years of experience in journalism    

  • Face personal risks or challenging work conditions due to your journalistic work    

  • Be proficient in English    

  • Hold a valid passport for at least 12 months    

  • Be in good health and able to handle daily life independently    

  • Be willing to return to your home country after the fellowship

  • Scanned passport (showing validity for 1 year).    

  • CV in tabular form.    

  • A motivation letter explaining the purpose of applying in this fellowship. Mention your difficult working situations and how this program will improve those conditions positively.
